I realize you're replying to thunder's mention of a family member who is an Olympic athlete, but why the compensatory and defended reply; and what, and who, really, would you be defending ... "chiropractic" and chiropractors? In fact, your reply reads like a chiropractic advertisement -- not any different than those endorsements we might see on TV of any grinning jock endorsing any product, from underwear to pizza. Is the underwear any more comfortable or durable or the pizza anymore "delicious" because the athlete says it is? hehehe. Seriously -- read what you wrote again -- out loud and more loudly this time. Aren't you forgetting something, doctor?
For example, what about all the worst US sprinters who also use chiropractors and are "worse," for all you know, because they chose "chiropractic" -- not to mention all those who can barely run who also, for a multitude of reasons chose "chiropractic" and chiropractors? Have you really come to say, like so many chiropractic PR people and enthusiasts have, that chiropractic can make you run faster and jump higher -- live longer and be more prosperous? Haven't most "elite" athlete's also received injections and/or physical therapy at some point in the professional life? What does this say about these therapies?
And, ruler is right when s/he says,"[Treating professional jocks] is pretty much a non issue for [the] average joe chiropractor who will only ever have access to elite athletes during his wet dreams." So, again ... what are you really saying in this chirotalk context with your advertisement above ... that some chiropractors have managed to count to numbers as high as 100 or were able to find their way into the locker-room of an Olympian? Wowzers, and all, but hey
Still, you wouldn't be the first person to point to your Chiropractic Self standing in the same picture as some famous athlete hoping some of their "power" and influence might rub-off on chiropractic sales. Here's some of that "Look, mom, that's me with... " chiropractic advertising I'm talking about:

I was just in a Manhattan pizza joint that had the owner featured with quite a few different TV and movie stars. From this wall display, would you conclude that most movie stars eat pizza and maybe even endorse his pizza over all the other restaurants in NYC? After all, if these stars eat this guy's pizza, it MUST be good. Right? So, I remain curious, let's say, as to why you would offer the same type of endorsement -- "Most of the best US sprinters use chiropractors at the national and international level -- as if to connect the chiropractic dots on chirotalk.
I'll take my answer on the air.
